Format:

Team Competition:  Four-person teams, 4-3-2-1 format (net)

Individual Competition:  Individual low net per team will be awarded along with closest to pin, and long drive.  Flights A & B will be established for all individual events based on “a player’s NIST Golf Association handicap.  If a player isn’t a NIST GA member, they may substitute a USGA handicap index (if available) or attested scorecards (with course rating and slope) of recently played courses.”

Prizes

• Closest to the Pin on holes 4,6,11,16 (for both flights)
• Long Drive” on hole #5  (for both flights)
• Special prize competition hole to be announced
• Individual low-net per team 1st 2nd and 3rd place, team

Event Schedule

•  7:00 – 7:30am Early play available for interested players
• 11:30-12:00pm Check in and Range Balls
• 12:30pm Shot gun start (5 hours allowed for round, you should finish)
• 5:30pm Food served
• 6:00pm prizes awarded

This outing welcomes all current and past NIST GA members, including spouses, family, friends, etc.  If you are interested in joining the NIST GA next year, this is a great opportunity to meet the members.

We are looking for a minimum of 40 players so please promote to other league players, NIST employees and guests ASAP.
